It is true that Lady Gaga has come out of nowhere to take the world by storm with some very danceable pop hits that have managed to absolutely overtake both the radio and the online world due to her amazing videos. The Fame Monster came out in 2009 and it has been devouring the charts with singles like Just Dance, Paparazzi, Bad Romance and the globe conquering Poker Face. If you add to this the recent craze over the Telephone video that Lady Gaga shot with Beyonce then you understand that this album is going to be amazing from start to finish and more than worth the $17 that it is priced at since it is 2 discs. One thing to be very careful about if you are getting it from a retail chain store or through an online source is that there are a lot of edited versions and these can really wreck the fun for those who want to have Lady Gaga uncensored. This album is nothing short of amazing from start to finish and if you are even a bit of a Lady Gaga fan, her artistry and musical craftsmanship will win you over with The Fame Monster. There is not a single other album that has been released in 2009 which can come close to touching the brilliance of this one and the art on the packaging itself is more than worth what it costs. If you want a collector’s edition then this is the one to pick up (Deluxe Edition) because it is a gorgeous piece of art in its own right with all the extras anyone could ask for.
