Hamilton Beach 51101B Single-Serve Blender with Travel Lid

I had heard a lot about the new line of blenders from Hamilton Beach and other companies that are designed to give you an easy and on the go way to have a smoothie or other blended drink whenever you want it so I decided to give it a shot. This is an excellent product idea so I was excited to try it out and I have to say it has definitely surpassed my expectations. With smoothies, icy drinks and other kinds of beverages, even the home made V8 I like, the problem is that it can be a bit of a pain to have to be in the kitchen, make up a batch and then store it until you are ready to drink it, but this single serve blender is ideal because it actually lets you do all of this on the go with a mere touch of a button. That is a terrific way to make sure that you get the healthy benefits of the drink you want no matter where you go. I was worried this would be expensive, but it turns out that it is just $16 for this model and since it has a travel lid built in then you can drink straight out of it with no issues at all. It is only around 2 lbs so it is very easy to carry a long if you just want it in the car or during a camping trip. Keep in mind, though, that you do need a normal power outlet to be able to use it.
